Plywood and Concrete Table TD01 dining table is characterised by an aesthetic tension between the materials used. The rough, uneven table legs made of breeze blocks are prefabricated in industrial mass production in contrast with the flat table top made of carefully processed plywood. The visual heaviness of the concrete contrasts with the lightness of the wooden top. A shadow gap between the two elements emphasises the contrast and at the same time connects them into an aesthetic and functional unit.
