In collaboration with hardman design, the Ash Dining Table was created as part of a furniture series for the offices of the e-commerce website etsy, which is characterised by a functional design and the play with the grain of wood.

 

The round tabletop of the Ash Dining Table consists of three identical circular sectors, made from the same tree trunk and thus largely matching giving a similarity grain. Their arrangement results in a triangular pattern that is echoed in the number and arrangement of the solid table legs. The diagonal orientation of the table legs places the focus of the furniture on the table top with its prominent grain.
